Can caffeine and cannabis give you a boost of energy to feel more alert and productive? Science says, yes it can!
THC mellows the coffee jitters, while caffeine simultaneously uplifts from THC’s infamous couch-lock body high. The combination feels good because both THC and caffeine trigger the release of dopamine in our brains, and caffeine may magnify and prolong the same effects of that dopamine boost. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that contributes to feelings of motivation, alertness, focus, and happiness—but in higher doses, can also fuel agitation or even paranoia; so start low and go slow.
For a long time, I resisted the idea of getting high first thing in the morning.
I didn’t want to be that person — a wake-and-bake stoner stereotype. Then something changed. I said, "Fuck it!” I started enjoying pot with my morning cup of coffee and suddenly felt more focused and had wildly more productive, creative work days.
Wanna try it? I recommend starting low with your morning coffee, start with less than 5 mg THC. The goal is to have just enough cannabinoids and caffeine to increase dopamine levels slightly for a boost of effects, not to feel high for the first half of the day.

Cannabis-Infused Coffee
DOSING:
Makes 1 pint (2 cups) of cannamilk. 1 tablespoon of infused creamer will approximately contain 2 mg THC.
Results will vary slightly depending on the potency of your flower, choice of milk, and decarb efficiency.
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups milk of choice (whole, 2%, oat, soy, almond)
0.4 g cannabis flower, ~25% THC (activated + decarbed at 240 degrees F for 40-50 mins)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Make Cannabis-Infused Creamer: Mix flower and milk in a glass oven-safe container, mason jar. Seal the lid, place into the oven and bake at 160°F for 2-3 hours to infuse THC into the milk. Remove from oven and cool to room temp. Store in fridge until ready to use, keep cool.
2. Brew Coffee or Espresso: Add 1 tablespoon of infused creamer and stir to combine. Add more non-infused milk/creamer to desired coffee-to-creamer ratio.
3. Prefer Your Coffee Black? Add cannabis-infused sugar or use a water-soluble THC stir stick.

I like my coffee-to-creamer ratio between B6 and F2. How about you?
