Get Lost at Sonoma Hills Farm
Fresh 420 event list + photo essay from the Lost Farm collab launch party
I’m still floating on cloud nine after my 48 Hours in Sebastopol trip. Maybe the hash-infused joint transported me into a magical dream state where I was frolicking with mini donkeys and fluffy-headed chickens in fields of fragrant flowers. It feels too good to be true, and yet it’s real and I have the photos to prove it.
Come get lost with me at Sonoma Hills Farm, a sun-grown cannabis farm in Petaluma, California to celebrate an epic collaboration with one of the best edibles makers in the game, Kiva Lost Farms.
Plus, details about “Top Chef” Master Chris Costentino’s farm-to-table, whole plant menu for the celebration. Read on…

Photo Essay: where culinary meets cannabis in unexpected ways

What happens when a celebrity chef, sun-grown cannabis farmer, and world-renowned edible brand get together to host a dinner party? Delicious magic.
Here’s a look into the launch party for the collaboration between Kiva and Sonoma Hills Farms. I’ll give you a full taste test and review of both flavors.
Up a dirt road off the Sonoma Coast Highway, we pulled up to a large barn next to fields of cannabis swaying gently in the breeze and soaking up the summer sunshine. I was handed a glass of ice-cold glass of peach iced tea and sent on a scavenger hunt through the fields to pick a bouquet of dahlias and zinnias, take selfies in the hemp field, and search for a tortoise peep show under the Pink Jesus.
Chef Chris Cosentino was buzzing around the outdoor kitchen putting final touches to the whole plant dinner he’s been preparing over the last week, using ingredients from the farm and from the cannabis plant to celebrate the flavors and strains featured in the new Lost Farms x Sonoma Hills Farm flavors.
“Sticks and stems,” he said. “I remember digging through the sticks and stems in my weed back in the day. This weed is so far from those days,” recalled Cosentino as he explained the inspiration for this menu and how he used ingredients from the farm in the dishes.
The celeb chef incorporated the non-psychoactive sticks, stems, and leaves from the cannabis plants into the cooking and preparation of the feast we’re about to eat, expertly pairing the natural flavors and aromas.
On the menu:
Feeling rather stoney after enjoying one of the Key Lime Pie x Grandi Guava gummies, my munchies are raging and I’m ready to dive in.
Taste Test + Review: The round, soft Key Lime x Grandi Guava gummy has the sweet perfume-y scent of key lime pie filling. Tart and cloyingly sweet, there’s just a hint of cannabis and the Grandi Guava Live Resin pairs beautifully with the creamy lime.
This hybrid strain had me feeling euphoric, relaxed yet upbeat, and is giving me hella munchies. I mean, eat everything in sight in front of me.
I glance over at Rachel’s plate with the vegetarian option and there’s a roasted tomato stuffed with summer corn risotto. How can I get one of those?
For dessert, there’s individual key lime pies and cherry cheesecake to cap off the meal. And that’s when the mini pony came out to explore the dessert table. Stick a fork in me, I’m done.
Somewhere between the gummy spiked mocktails and the chocolate s’mores pit, I wandered off in a stoney, blissful haze and met a few new friends.

Taste Test + Review: These 10mg THC square-wrapped Grilled Peach x Cherry Cheesecake chews have tiny flecks dotting the creamy peach-colored taffy that give it a distinctly grilled flavor, rather than just plain peach. It’s juicy and chewy at the same time and there’s a zesty brightness from the Cherry Cheesecake live resin that harmoniously complements the grilled peach flavor.
The indica-hybrid strain provides a euphoric head high and full body relaxation with a side of munchies that’s pleasantly delightful.
Kiva’s Lost Farm brand makes gummies and chews that deliver a strain-specific edible experience. That means the effects from the live resin and live rosin used to infuse the edibles feel more akin to smoking flower. One of the joys of smoking flower is discovering the effects of each strain’s unique terpene profile – how it makes you feel.
Lost Farms edibles certainly deliver consistently and they’ve become one of my favorite go-to edibles. Bags of chews don’t last long as I share them with friends or stuff them in purse pockets. Trying and collecting the new flavors and strains has become a bit of a treasure hunt to find the latest drops.
Highly recommend: 10/10
